Engr. Lawan Abba Wakilbe was born on 23rd August, 1977 in Maiduguri, his Local Government Area was Kaga of Borno State. He is married and blessed with children, he loves Travelling, Geographical Research, Writing and Humanitarian work. He attended Shehu Garbai Primary School Maiduguri were obtained First School Leaving Certificate, from 1983 – 1989.
He obtained a Senior Secondary School Certificate 1990 – 1995, his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Agricultural Engineering in University of Maiduguri 1997 – 2003, his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Certificate in 2004, later obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Risk Management and developmental studies University of Maiduguri in 2013 and a master’s degree in Disaster Risk Management and developmental studies University of Maiduguri in 2014.
